Irresponsible dog owners ( includes swearing)

I treated dog and place for fleas yesterday, as maintenance, as always, WE WERE CLEAR OF FLEAS. THIS WAS MAINTENANCE

My Dog played with and said hello to a dog earlier when out,

I HAVE Now found live ones AGAIN.

HOW THE FUCK can i rid of them (or prevent them) when others dont give a fucking shit. VERY ANNOYED.

We were clear of them for last couple of months. But if others DONT GIVE A SHIT then WTF do i do?

REALLY FUCKING PISSED OFF NOW.

Would you take driving lessons from a drunk?

The title get your attention? Good.

Its not about driving lessons from an incompetent and possibly illegal tutor
Its about being put through a system with glaring faults : DWP acknowledges serious issues with assessments and assessors. You can check that up, the info is widespread.
Heres the resl rub...
So If ATOS so highly lambasted by DWP, BMA etc etc. Why do i still have to attend TO THEM before end aug? Surely efficacy is questionable?

Not only efficacy, but whole process. why I should attend under that environ, the whole thing is disintegrated, yet still operating

And if i were to state that as an objection to attendance, id be sanctioned. Thats really screwed up.

I know i'm going to be assessed and decided upon by some system and company thats complete failure mode. THAT ANNOYS ME.

Uncomfortable about it is a very tame explanation of how I feel on it.

Rant over.
----------------------------------------

Walking into a situation voluntarily like that would not be something ANYONE would consider, and yet its a mandatory demand.

UPDATE 31st AUGUST, The date of this supposed to be walking through a broken system, the system "Medical Services" (ATOS) ring me about 11am and CANCEL the appointment because "The doctor is sick"

Yep, you couldnt make it up.

----------
LAST time I had the fortune of being assessed, ATOS gave me 12 points hence Fit For Work.

The DWP phoned me to tell me this, and then paused. A killer pause. And said they had decided this wasnt the case, as ATOS had MISSED important info that was actually on the ESA50 form. And told me I was in WRAG.
It took a couple of months and the assistance of my MP to find out what had happened.
ATOS had awarded 12 points, DWP "discovered" info had not been considered correctly, and awarded an extra 8 points, giving me 20.
To this day, I still dont know what info was "missed" but an 8 point difference is a shambles.

Assuming Someone is drunk. They might not be...

Without any prejudice at all to the policing of a busy city centre

JUST NOW Seeing a tweet from GMP city Centre team:
--------------------------------

Patrols are on route to a drunk man in a wheelchair in the middle of Dale St, NQ refusing to move for motorists.
--------------------------------
I retweeted It and also asked Them If He Was OKAY, as "Sometimes Illness can be mistaken for drunk."

Then it dawned, they werent actually there yet.

They didnt know IF he was drunk, or possibly ill.

Illness: MS is one....stroke another , as is dehydration, fatigue from other, organ damage, mental illness. etc etc.
Many illnesses can be interpreted incorrectly as drunk.

He also may have been distressed, and requests to move may not be the kindest ever made, also were the kerbs in that place where he was enabled for wheelchair easy use?

A tweet, I think that " a man in a difficult situation reported, we're on our way" wouldve been better, especially knowing the man was reported to them as in a wheelchair.

"drunk man in wheelchair" when they dont know cos not arrived yet is an inconsiderate tweet at many levels.

Acknowledge however, he may well be a twat, in a chair, who actually is drunk and obnoxious. But tweeting before they get there a bit off.

---------------------
The City centre team responded.

Hi! I see what your saying but we've based the tweet off a member of public who spoke to him.
The man in the wheelchair was drunk & is well known to C/C officers he declined any medical assistance.
I totally agree and we're not judging but can only work of what we're told by the caller :)

NICE TO CLARIFY!

Imagine working at a Place where you're told "Throw your morals in the bin"

The title of this blog is a real (stated on radio, by ex Atos nurse) situation .

Not knowing if genuine/ fake... you make your own mind up .

Listen to the call into LBC this ex nurse for ATOS made.

http://www.lbc.co.uk/listen-ex-atos-nurse-tells-her-story-75493

And After you hear all that, tell me then that the warnings, complaints and campaigning many people have done is not FOR A REASON .

Then, You can click the WOW button bottom right of here, and sign WOW Petition

This is the transcript of the above link, in case you dont want to click and listen..

Transcript of Audio by Carole Ford
Account of Atos/DWP phone call to LBC 21/7/13 to Petrie Hosken
ATOS NURSE

Nurse : Worst position I ever worked in - more like factory work. Had daily quotas
of 26 bundles of files - 18 files of clients to a bundle. I worked on my own on the computer. Results were quantified before started - results were what they predicted.
Nurse: Questioned why can't DWP employ its own nurses & doctors?
Doctors employed by Atos are 95% foreign doctors, who cannot get work in NHS. Others are retired/ semi retired GPs . All doctors are very well paid. Doctors are not allowed to examine patients .Shambolic.
Petrie: Are you surprised by number of Appeals?
Nurse : Not surprised. The result is told to you before you look at the files. Everything is predetermined
Petrie: Are you encouraged to turn clients away from the benefits system?
Nurse: Nurses did the file work - did not meet the patients. Told how many had to be turned down.
If not you had a kind of disciplinary. The doctors did not examine the patients. Nurses & doctors are workers with no regard to their clinical skills. You belong to Atos, who treat their staff horrendously.
Petrie: This is appalling. You have to have Targets?
Nurse: Absolutely
Petrie: You turn people away despite their health conditions?
Nurse : uh huh
Petrie How does it make you feel?
Nurse: Awful ( She left after 9 months working for Atos, having been a nurse for 30 years)
It is the most unsatisfying job. Joined to make a difference.
Petrie: So decent people leave - replaced by others who need a job & don't have your moral compass?
Nurse : I was told by Deputy Director at the Atos centre, who is a doctor " Sally if you want to work here you have to throw away your principles"
Nurse said she left Atos after 9 months, having been a nurse for 30 years

You shouldnt read this cos some illness is invisible , and youd think too much

Shall I describe which bit my guts currently hurting, or chance inaccuracy cos its transferrence? Yet though it hurts the source unknown.

I smile, i act an act worthy of a ballet swan yet without dramatics, an image of normalcy.

A scream of ouch would not penetrate the brains of people who are visual only, the thing is hidden.

And so I see, unseen is unheard, and so apt, when illness is a thing, and no one sees it. Such accuracy.

A dive, a ducking, or avoidance. from engagement or activity, what is that but questionable in those that are blind to see the ill?

invisible illness.

WIthout Predjudice to Boycotts ...

DEEP THOUGHT: Boycotting M&S (or any other shop) wont change govt policy to the vunerable whether you can or cant boycott it. Work Programme will find opportunist outlets, and i'm sure people are queueing to participate for lower labour costs. That labour is often, or could be, or perception is, that sick people are put in WRAG group, and forced to work for benefits. THIS IS GOVT. What company under that offer would not take free labour? The system sets it as an option. The system that assesses people Fit To work, or unworthy of a wage is a magnet to the companies. That system is an assessment system called Work Capability Assessment , which is failing with huge appeals. BMA hate it want it ceased, claimants and entitled persons are being made destitute by it. There are DWP own figures on that about destitution. ( Work programme exists in WRAG and for JSA persons too, I'm not excluding the plight of JSA recipients, as some of them, too should have ESA) MY passion is the correct target, not the fringes. If i say Not everyone can boycott, no, not everyone can. But everyone can sign #WOWpetition even friends and family of those in the *melee* of the system. So A plea, from me.

Get the right target in focus, dont dilute, dont fight, or be driven by side issues and indirects. The best way is to unite, and fight this USING their system (my view right now) This is why I support #WOWpetition, and why I hope you will sign it. Jules.

I mention AGAIN theres nothing wrong with boycotts .

I also include here an ace blog which describes The conundrum of

Ethics, buying power, and why we can't all shop by conscience.

My Synapses twitched to look upon Insomnia from this angle...

Thinking becomes profound on the lands called insomnia.

It's terrain full of unexpected souvenirs.

Those souvenirs, unforseen as retained, return they oft do.

Without warning, they spike, and spin. And then gone as

quick.

Yet when gone their shadow lingers, less vivid than the spike,

and yet as disturbing, leaving only when you reach the stream

called sleep.

Water- paying for water. Grrr

So Ages ago, was told " no space to fit a water meter " "cant fit one"

Thunk on this for months and months and months.

Calls 'em back.

They say records show we cant fit one, so I say others like mine have them fitted.

They go oh, okay.

So they come, 'av a look and explain HOW they can fit one, by moving a stop cock, hanging it on wall etc etc.  etc etc.

So contradiction identified. Previously NOT POSSIBLE. This time OOOH we can and this is how.

"Would it be okay to turn shared water off for twenty minutes"

"yeah, sure"

*Operative has a look* up and down path all round and about like, and comes back and says

"cant find shared branch cut off - it SHOULD be either *there* *there* or sometimes there. but it isnt"

So.........

" cant fit one mate, if cant turn water off"

So I have to get on to the RSL and ask them see if they know where the fuck it is, so I can then let the utilities know where the fuck it is, so i can save money. meantime still cant.

Yeah youd think it would be easy huh? Not this one.

The single persons "rate" is still higher than a meter would be, without a doubt. The building is stopping me save. Or is it utilities incompetance? Or something else? Who knows.
Still ongoing.

Also I hate PAYING for water. Just so you know.

Musings This windy Sunday.

Was thinking where nearest cycle shop thing is. Theres not one anywhere near. and yet we're 3.7 miles from town hall here about an hour or so's walk from it. Youd think someone would have a cycle shop eh?

Theres an empty shop on chapman street if anyone was thinking of a cycle shop? just a thought.

This is about Cycles. Cos I have one , needs some repairs.

And would be less tiring for me if i could use it.

Plus buses cost money, cycle doesnt.

Not used it for a couple of years. I think it would be good if i could, you know, cos i cry off going places cos of the walking or the bus fares.

Not easy on sick money is it. Its very restricting. As is the illness too.

If you reading this and thinking "Just get on with it" errrr. stop, grow up, and understand that illness bites lifestyles in the nuts.

The cycle thing could make a difference. It probably wont get repaired. Other things must come first. Theres never enough to do stuff with. You have to choose between basic expectations, and leave voids. We have the worst benefits in europe. And for those that think otherwise I pity them and their lack of understanding just how tough it is.
No Cycling doesnt mean fit. think its less strain than walking, and quicker to get to a loo if needed.

Think its probably less fatigue casually riding to a place than walking.

The bike needs tyres inner tubes and brake pads sort of a refub thing i think.

The Prob i do have is Where is The Shop. And How much it'll cost to repair it up.

Ah well. Musings are musings.

A Day, Not a normal day, but a day

A synopsis of Saturday, some bits missing but hell, thats what a synopsis is right?

Happy sort of result -  helped someones mum to speak via a computer earlier, and I put all the stuff on it.

Don't congratulate me.

I don't want That.

Cos I could is why. No other cunt could offer a free route, I could and was happy to do it.

She smiled cos she sounds like an American airline steward. Hahaha. But never underestimate anyone. I beg you. Ever.

It's not hard to help people when they aren't taking the piss.
That my rule.

Obey the gut. Haha  have to obey mine more than most anyway!

I did tweet earlier about it and the stuff you need free to enable that solution. I think I sent it to an Occupational Therapist. For their reference. Yes I did.

Been up since 8 am with less than 4 hrs sleep. Insomnia is a bastard.
 But I'm not,
unless justified so.
Right now I feel like lead.

That metal. That one that's heavy.

 Still no sleep signal.

It's probably down to a few of you that are reading this that I did that today. I'm not scared. On that helpy stuff. Once I know it.

Of course theres things that are way too scary, that I won't do. In fact can't do. But hey, we all have some of that?

Confidence and belief comes from what we know. I forgot that for a few years. And still do, cos illness and depression combined are bastards I've probably bored you all with this. Sorry if thats the case. After all this was through my head earlier, I played a playlist I'd done and shared two hours worth all of it on twitter

To share this ive written this on twitter and here at up to 2am.
If its any use to you I'm glad I have, If not, i dont really care.

The reason its shared is because its been a difficult day for me, and i still did something.

This is rare, not daily. But it matters.

I've omitted my health issues , apart from a hint at some of the head stuff.

many Thanks for reading.

Wanna speed up your lappy?

Theres a few people asked me about this and so I share it, its no secret!
Sometimes older windows gets a bit clumsy, or the upgrades are slowing you down a lot, and you feel the lappy is getting a bit useless.

Solution is go OFF windows to a faster, stable and secure operating system called Ubuntu.

The ubuntu install is pretty easy

Burn the iso to disc (the iso is the file that downloads)

then Put the Ubuntu CD into the CD/DVD-drive.
Restart your computer. You should see a welcome screen prompting you to choose your language and giving you the option to install Ubuntu or try it from the CD.
If the PC/ lappy thats DIED , can still boot but is virtually crapollad cos the windows is too much for it or borked, then you choose replace all, so the windows is gone. Ubuntu 12.04 lts is the one I recommend.

Ive done this to a few peoples lappys and it makes a huge difference.
And Its free.

Fatboy Slim - Lockdown Mixtape (Week 14)

During Lockdown these have been quite excellent, and 14 so far have all been excellent
