A small THING about Liberty. Inequality and Benefits

Can all those with Computer access ask the media to condemn the ONLINE
ONLY switch for benefits.

There are some of us who have limited or no net access.

The compulsion for someone to HAVE net access and register a CV on line,
and register with a jobsite under Universal Jobsmatch and to sign access
away to personal online activity to the DWP is ASSUMPTIVE, DRACONIAN,
Removal of privacy, and enforced control over individuals that is a step
to far. ANd even if a jobseeker is on line 30 odd hours a week of data
searching and on line activity could cost most of the benefits meaning No
food, heating or other bills. Its tough as it is.

The Idea that those just losing jobs and claiming WILL have a computer is
ludicrous. The Demographics within those not on the net are there to be
found. I wont find them for you. That is for you if you beleieve that the
GOVT is wrong in this.

REAL FEAR FROM T Hemingford......



This isn't easy but it looks like my wife will be going into a nursing home.

I'm sick just thinking about it.

I'll still see her everyday, but her care needs now go beyond what I can do and what I can do at home.

My wife has got a lot worse and it's not been easy. Between the pain and the painkillers, we've not had much conversation for a long time.

It's really hard on the kids. We've had a tough year, Twitter has been my main link to the outside world this year.

We've been worried about growing bills and about how much more money we might lose.

 I don't care anymore. Cameron can take it all. They're making life hell for me and my children. They've been bullied at school because they know mum & dad are disabled. They see it on TV, one the news, in the papers and repeat it. My wife has always been a worrier and I've no doubt her anxieties over money around 6/8 months ago contributed to her getting so worse.

She was worried day in day out.

She's lost her fight and our recent brief conversations have been full of hopelessness and depression.

It's just too hard for me now, though. I am but one man and not 100% fit at that. I have to move forward for myself and our children.

 But I don't know how.

You cannot believe the contempt and hatred I now feel towards David Cameron and this Government for what they've done to us. I'll still see my wife everyday at the home and tend to her. She's still my wife, though I cannot lie that our relationship has drifted in recent years, as disability has taken parts of her from me. It's not the same anymore and it breaks my heart. I don't know why I'm writing this, I guess I need to talk, but I'm not one for bothering GPs unless I need to. We had a manageable life up until a few years ago. If only people knew how much families like mine depend on our income. Even I don't know how we'll cope with even less coming in and more higher bills in the future. When things get so bad we all question whether being is a blessing. I don't know what I'll do in the future. I was planning to give Twitter up but it feels as though I need it now. I talk with my children but I'm still a parent to them, not like talking adult to adult. And it's hard to get out. I still have a disabled child to care for. I never thought any government would do what they've done to us. I hope you are proud Mr Cameron.

A " little" annoying to say the least ....

Having treated place and dog at least three times in last three weeks...

EVEN More flea treatment needed. Stubborn buggers. just found three on dog. Does this never bloody end.? I thought it would be Sprays etc will be bought tomorrow.
On advice recieved better i wait till I can afford the Top Notch Stuff .... yikes a week while tuesday.

If there was a creator would he create vampiric tiny fuckers that serve no purpose WHATSOEVER but to annoy dogs and their owners. No.

I won't give up. they need rid.

I was told there's no blame, not my fault etc etc etc, but it does feel like it, and i'm sure others have felt that OMG feeling too.

 Last time this happenned was about 2and a half years ago, and it took about 4 weeks to get rid.

Please could you put our petition on your blog we're desperate to get signatures! We need 100,000 to sign before the house of commons can debate this, and remember it worked for the badgers folks, but we only have just over 3,500 & I've been at this over 3 months now with over 5,000 tweets on twitter, it isn't doing well enough so I really need your help guys! Although only certain mental health conditions are mentioned in this petition, if this were successful it would help all mentally ill and vulnerable because the government would have to look at all Mental Health sufferers! We only have until March so we really need everyone's help. My own son who has suffered from Paranoid Schizophrenia and an emotionally unstable Personality Disorder for 23 years, has been in hospital now on a Section 3 of the MH Act for 27 months, he is very vulnerable and worrying about losing his DLA and having to apply for PIP next year, this is making him very ill and having a very detrimental effect on his recovery, and as his mum it's very hard for me to!  Thank you Lynn xx

"My name is Lynn, I’m 60 years old and I’d like to share my son’s illness with you all to try and help you understand the predicament thousands of others like my son are faced with next year, regarding DWP Benefit Reform for the sick and disabled.

My youngest son aged 40 has suffered from Paranoid Schizophrenia and emotional instability Personality Disorder since the age of 18. I have lived the illness with my son, the highs, the lows, and numerous hospital admissions over the years. My son had another very bad psychotic breakdown in August 2010, which resulted in a section 3 of the Mental Health Act and he has been in hospital care for 2 years this time.

Although my son is nearly 40 years old, mentally he is only 15, he is immature and extremely vulnerable and easily exploited. Therefore needs much support and care when living in the community. My son, like thousands like him, who suffer from a Severe and Enduring mental health problem, has no voice when it comes to the DWP or ATOS, he like others wouldn’t be able cope with being interviewed next year 2013 when the Disability Living Allowance changes to Personal Independence Payment and he has to be assessed by DWP.  He, again like many others, who suffer severe mental illness, doesn’t believe he is ill, and just wants to be left alone.

The severely mentally ill will be hugely disadvantaged by the GOV/DWP/ATOS putting them through this ridiculous assessment in 2013, particularly people who don’t believe they are mentally ill, who to anyone who doesn’t know them, or, their background, can come across as fine, strong, healthy people, and may not appear ill at all, or, that they need help and support in their day to day lives, keeping them and others safe in the community, they won’t see the risks for the mentally ill, and many won’t have family or support to go with them to the assessments!

My son would tell an assessor he wasn’t ill, and say he just wanted to be left alone to get on with his life, which would see him losing his DLA/PIP for sure. Yet in reality, my son cannot get on a bus or use any public transport due to his paranoia that people are staring at him. He would get upset and get angry, probably end up getting in to trouble, because his self-esteem is low as is his confidence, and he thinks the world and his mate are against him.

To avoid this kind of stress and a way of coping, he needs taxis to anywhere he has to go, shopping, to any appointments he has. It is the only way he can cope with going out, and without his DLA/PIP he would be housebound and have no quality of life at what so ever.

If mental health sufferers lose their DLA/PIP benefit, (same as all disabled), it will place a huge extra burden on family, carers and friends emotionally and financially to provide the care and support and finance they need, which most of us couldn’t afford! All to often family/friends who are carers, as in our own case, are ill, worn down.

I was diagnosed 2 years ago with Moderate to Severe ME/CFS and told by my consultant it was due to being a carer for 22 years. My husband is 76 years old, in bad health, tired, it catches up with us and having to provide even more care to our loved ones should they lose their benefit, will put carers at more risk mentally and physically.

Because I understand the plight of the severely mentally ill, and have insight to the wider implications of what the GOV/DWP actions will cause for the sufferer and family, and carers, I have started this e-petition asking the Government to Exclude all severely mental ill from the 2013 DLA/PIP assessments, because what the GOV/DWP are doing is the biggest travesty and betrayal to our sick and disabled who in most cases have already proved their illness/disability with medical evidence and assessments they have already had to go through to get their DLA in the first place, and many like my son, were awarded DLA for an Indefinite period because they have provided proof their illness/disability is a life long one!

There are a number of e-petitions about Benefit Reform, I have signed them all which everyone should do to try and help protect all disabled, however, this petition is specifically to try and get the severely mentally ill EXCLUDED from the assessments because they do not have a strong enough voice and they will be hugely disadvantaged as I said before."

As GISHWHES has begun, one thing that is very important me, and all
GISHWHES peeps is the RandomActs.
Part of the GISHWHES items is a way of promoting random acts of

his/her food home from the store to helping animals that are in a

Stupidity of Cuts - An example.

Theres a centre near to here that does fantastic work with Gorton and close by areas' Learning Disabled persons. 

Its going to close. 

In favour of a centre quite a distance away.

But, apparently , theres no money to sort regular transport for the centres users to the alternate place and the users of the centre thats closing have been told to "use the bus".

The users , carers and families have set up a protest campaign about this as some of these people will have difficulties with buses, and its quite a distance away. 

One of the leaders in the community, one of the people I deal with quite a bit, has asked for serious investigation into this via our MP. 

Its appalling that these individuals are being quite literally trounced.

Everyone that views my blog, I believe, has a care for humans. Theres a massive human surge towards badgers thats forgotten the effects of welfare reform on humans, LOOK UP DEATHS AFTER BEING DEEMED FIT FOR WORK. For Humans, a sort of administrative cull some people say.
